Helping minority CUNY college students find tech or finance opportunities

Overview
The Glaelle Mathurin Community Foundation (GMCF) is proud to offer a Tech & Finance program for minority CUNY college students. Our Tech & Finance program will provide students with the proper resources, materials and guidance to set them up for a 2024 Tech or Finance internship or job opportunity. Selected students will go through a 4-week virtual program during the Spring of 2024. The program will consist of a resume building workshop, mock interview sessions, field assessments, inspirational DEI talks and potential scheduled job/internship interviews.

Eligibility requirements:

Be enrolled full-time as a Sophomore, Junior or Senior at any CUNY College during the 2023-2024 academic school year

Be a part of the historically underrepresented group within the Tech & Finance industry

Current cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher

Be either a Software Engineering, Computer Science, or technical related major OR Finance, Accounting, Math or business related major

Submit Unofficial College Transcript

Submit Two Recommendation Letters

Submit your Tech Portfolio; examples (GitHub, Deployed link, detailed project deck or demo video, wireframes)
