Classroom Lecture

Overview

The Glaelle Mathurin Community Foundation (GMCF) in partnership with D75 Office of Transition Services and Postsecondary Planning Initiatives is proud to offer a High School Leadership program for minority NYC Public High School students. Our High School Leadership program will provide students with the proper resources, materials and guidance to set them up for a summer internship or job opportunity. Selected students will go through a 6 day program. The program will consists of a college & entrepreneurship/career fair, etiquette and professional attire class, panel of inspirational speakers and on the spot job interviews from local small businesses.

Eligibility requirements:

  • A NYC high school student attending one of the cities' D75 public schools

  • Be a part of the historically underrepresented group

  • Submit a copy of working papers

  • Parent/Guardian approved signature
