OUR FOUNDER

Glaelle Mathurin is a young woman of color who has a passion to help the people of her community, particularly the youth. She received her Associate's degree in Business Administration from CUNY Queensborough Community College and her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration - Human Resources Management from CUNY York College. Being an alumna of two CUNY colleges she was able to witness the huge financial need students in her community face to pay for their education. When the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) was no longer available during her junior year at CUNY York College, she had to work two part time jobs while attending school full time just to pay for her tuition and books. Being a part of the minority and underrepresented group in her community allowed her to connect with many students who shared similar trials. During her senior year she was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship from the CUNY York Alumni association, which gave her great relief to focus on getting into her field after graduation. Being a scholarship recipient sowed the seed to her passion in helping other students focus solely on their education and future.
